Large, unique multi inlay Rainbow Man bolo. Made with a copper base and copper channels between the stones, which are possibly painted wood? The artist has applied a heavy clear coating and in some areas appear cracked underneath looking like a spiderweb matrix. This is all under the top clear coat and doesn't present any damage such as chipping or flaking. The face appears to have the eyes painted in with a copper mouth and head band. The bottom white section of the loincloth has carved lines and the rest of the Rainbow Man has copper channels between the inlays. The hand made end tips which are also copper have stampwork of an eagle, rain cloud, and crossed arrows which start at the bottom tip and stack above the other to the top. The very top has sunrise stamping completely around. The pendant attaches to the braided black leather cord by a typical metal thumb locking clasp. The pendant measures 4" tall from tip of headdress to heal of back foot and 2" across from elbow to elbow. The leather cord measures approximately 40 1/2" long which includes the 2 3/8" long copper end tips. The complete bolo weighs 75.9 grams (2.68 ounces) and is hallmarked R.T. with a sunrise above the initials. $314.95
