Item # 258F - Tooled Leather Southwest Saddle Purse
Southwest tooled leather saddle purse! Heavy quality leather with multiple decorative tooling, this purse wasn't cheaply thrown together from Taiwan! Made with an actual mini-saddle on the top with stirrups and horn. Brass fasteners and a spin type locking clasp. The inside has sheep wool (maybe faux?) linings on the lid with canvas cloth inside and quality hand stitched together. It's used, but barely and is in very good shape. The purse compartment measures 9" by 4" by 6" deep. Shows slight wear on the saddle, but the rest is in like new condition. The only thing I notice is the shoulder strap isn't the original. It has been replaced with a thick leather strap with leash type clasp latches and attached the the purse buckles. That could easily be replaced with a leather belt. The strap measures 57" long as is and that's probably why it was added so the purse hung lower on the shoulder. I've seen this style purse new selling for $70-$80 and are very popular for the "cowgirls". $37.95
