Vintage Navajo Turquoise & Branch Coral Necklace - Item # 257T
Large beautiful 70's Navajo turquoise and branch coral necklace. It consists of one hundred six (106) 8-9 mm silver seamed beads with six (6) side pendants (three on each side) that have a large turquoise nugget, piece of branch coral, cactus bloom, feather, scrolls, twisted rope, and beads. The main pendant consists of a large turquoise nugget with two pieces of branch coral, two feathers, cactus bloom, and double the amount of scrolls, twisted rope, and beads. It has a smaller pendant dangling which also has double feathers and double coral along with a smaller turquoise nugget and smaller scrolls. All the pendants have been set with blackened base plates. It has a hook-n-eye clasp with decorative stamped cones. The necklace measures 23 1/2" long end to end and weighs 180.9 grams (6.38 ounces). Each of the side pendants measure 2" by 1 3/8" with the center pendant measuring 2 5/8" by 2 3/8". The smaller dangling pendant measures 1 3/4" by 1 1/8". The total length of the center section (both large and small pendants) is 4 1/4" long. There are three beads with dents that are located by the clasp. Basically unnoticeable. The necklace is stamped L by the Navajo artist and is guaranteed sterling silver. $1357.95
