Item # 252P - Vintage Zuni Snake Eye's Hoop Earrings
Nice vintage Zuni earrings! Made with a twisted wire that's been hammered flat in the area where the stones have been set. The artist added six (6) small turquoise beads (known as snake eye's) in tiny hand cut saw toothed bezels. Then bending the wire into a 3/4 hoop. The earrings measure approximately 7/8" in diameter and wrap around your ear lobe. They weigh 1.6 grams each (3.2 grams total). Natural turquoise whereas some of the stones are changing color from human oils. Unsigned sterling silver. $41.95
