Vintage Coral Needlepoint Necklace & Earrings Combo
Beautiful Zuni coral needlepoint and sterling silver necklace and earrings combo set with a total of ninety four (94) hand cut coral pieces! Each side section of the necklace consists of twenty six (26) individual set needlepoint coral pieces in hand cut serrated bezels, thirty one (31) silver drops mostly at the end of each coral, and a curved piece of twisted rope all laid on a silver base plate. The center section is basically the same, but instead of the row of silver drops the artist replaced with seventeen (17) silver spoons. Each section measures approximately 2 3/8" across. The entire necklace measures 20" long end to end and has a hand made shepherd's hook clasp. The necklace weighs 27 grams and is signed Verna Pinto - Zuni, NM by the artist. The earrings each consist of eight (8) needlepoint coral pieces, six (6) silver drops, two (2) twisted ropes, and five (5) silver dangling spoons. They each measure 2 1/4" long and weigh 3.3 grams each (6.6 grams total). Beautiful set which still has the original price of $375 wrote on back. We will leave it to the purchaser to clean or not since some collectors prefer the "aged" look. $349.95
