Large vintage Zuni thunderbird bolo!
Made with turquoise, mother of pearl, and black jet with silver
channels between the stones. The pendant measures 2 1/8" by 2" across.
Attached to a braided tan and black leather cord with an old BENNETT PAT. PEND.- C-31 thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures 38" long to include the 2 1/4" long sterling silver end tips. The total weight is 37.8 grams (1.33 ounces) and is unsigned sterling
silver. I put the bolo made in the 30's era. It appears the Bennett
clasp was added to it afterwards as does the cord. Heavy black patina
which since some collector's prefer the "aged" look we will leave and let purchaser decide whether to clean or not. $157.95
