Vintage Fire Agate Ring Sz 7 1/4
Beautiful attractive Mexican fire agate ring. The stone originates in Mexico, but many Native Americans use the stone in their jewelry. Very fiery stone set in a tight saw toothed bezel and wrapped with smooth wire along with a light twist wire around the outer edge giving the setting a somewhat shadowbox effect. Mounted to a split shank band. The face measures 7/8" by 5/8" and weighs 4.3 grams. It's a size 7 1/4 and is hallmarked C C. Guaranteed sterling silver. The fire agate jewelry has become very desirable over the past year. I've seen some fire agate rings sell for over $250 lately with one that sold for $900.
