Navajo Turquoise Shield Buckle
NEW! Beautiful Navajo turquoise shield buckle. Made with a nice oval blue turquoise cab with webbed black matrix. Set in a saw toothed bezel and wrapped with twisted rope. Beautiful satellite detailed stampwork with stamped feathers protruding into the four directions. The buckle measures 2 5/8" by 2 1/4" and will accommodate a belt up to 1 1/4" wide. The buckle weighs 34.1 grams (1.20 ounces) and is stamped MCD - Sterling by the Navajo artist Martha Cayatineto. The D (appears to be a square) stands for Dine (Navajo) which I was told. $89.95
