Vintage Dangling Turquoise Tie Clip
Nice tie clip! I believe it's from the 50's era. Standard tie clip with a sun stamp and a stamped feather to each side. Dangling from the clip is a nice polished blue-green turquoise stone set in a hand cut saw toothed bezel. It's mounted to a blackened base plate with a piece of square wire wrapped around the edge giving it a shadowbox effect. The artist has applied five notches in the edges at approximately 1 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 11 o'clock if it was a clock dial. The clip measures 1 3/4" across with a total length of 1 1/2". I imagine the clip is nickel silver because of solid properties and believe the rest is sterling. This is a very nice and somewhat unique piece! $49.95
