Heavy Vintage Turquoise Sandcast Concho Belt
Bold heavy vintage Navajo turquoise sandcast concho belt. Made with six (6) round sandcast turquoise wheel shaped conchos, seven (7) turquoise sandcast butterflies, and the oval shaped turquoise sandcast buckle. The buckle measures 3 1/2" by 2 5/8", the round concho's measure 2 3/8" diameter, and the butterflies measure 2 3/8" by 1 5/8". They are mounted with copper slides on a heavy thick high quality black leather belt that measures almost 1 3/4" wide and approximately 38" long. The complete belt weighs over 20 ounces (1 lb 4 oz) and is stamped DTB on the back of the buckle. Guaranteed sterling silver. The hallmark is that of Navajo silversmith Dene Tsosie Bini. This belt is top quality high end piece and you won't find one exactly like it. For one thing, I would imagine the sandcasted molds were worn out by the time this belt was finished.
