Inlaid Abalone Bird Brass Buckle
Beautiful abalone inlay buckle! Made with fourteen pieces of abalone squares of different sizes with an inlaid bird on a branch and oval mother of pearl background. The bird consists of a coral head, abalone body, and a brown lip shell tail perched on a turquoise branch. All inlaid into a brass buckle with stationary belt holder and pin. The buckle measures 3 3/8" by 2 1/8" and weighs 49.2 grams (1.74 ounces). It's stamped MEXICO on the back side. The buckle will accommodate a belt up to 1 5/8" wide.
