Zuni Inlay Hornet Necklace & Earrings Combo
Beautiful and unique Zuni hornet inlay necklace and matching earrings! Each hornet shows a combination of shell and stone inlay. The five hornets down each side match the hornet opposite of it with the earrings still a different combination. The different stones and shells used are turquoise, coral, onyx, white mother of pearl, pink mother of pearl, brown mother of pearl, and tortoise shell. The hornets on the sides measure 1 1/8" long by 7/8" wide as do the earrings also. The large queen hornet in the center pendant measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/8" and has her own combination of inlay. The complete center pendant with the flowers measures 2 1/8" by 3" across. The necklace consists of one hundred sixty four (164) sterling silver hand made seamed beads that are 7-8mm in size. All strung on braided silver chains with a hook-n-eye clasp. The total length of the necklace is 27" end to end and weighs 94.6 grams (3.34 ounces).
