Vintage Rare Hachita Turquoise & Coral Bolo
Vintage turquoise and coral bolo. Large turquoise slab from the Hachita mines with golden brown matrix along with a large piece of branch coral set the pendant off! Both stones are set in hand cut scalloped bezels, the turquoise wrapped with heavy gauge twisted wire and the coral is wrapped with smaller gauge twisted wire along with graduating silver drops on both sides. The large bolo pendant measures 3 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide and the heavy fluted bead end tips measure 3" themselves. We just added a new 6mm braided leather cord which measures 58" including the end tips. The complete bolo weighs 80.5 grams (2.84 ounces) and is signed L A stacked with an arrow between the initials by Navajo Leo (Lee) Arviso. The clasp or slide is stamped PAT. PEND. which I'm sure the patent on this style slide expired prior to 1960. Unmarked, but guaranteed coin silver or better. $179.95
