Vintage Zuni 40's Knifewing Bolo

Multi stone inlaid Zuni knifewing bolo. Estimating from the 1940's and possibly 1930's. All stones are tight and somewhat raised. With turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and either onyx or jet channel inlaid to form the knifewing god. The braided cord is high quality 5-6 strand braid and It has round pointed end tips which are made of an agate stone. Looking real close you can see where the artist hammered with a chisel to bend the silver bars down to separate the cords. There are small cut areas in the silver. The knifewing measures 2" by 2" and weighs exactly 1 ounce (28 grams) with the cord and end tips. The total length of the cord and tips is 36". Unmarked, but appears to be sterling silver. It's at least coin grade or better. The cord and tips are not original to the pendant. If you'd prefer sterling silver end tips, I can exchange for no charge.  $182.95
