Zuni Turquoise MOP Jet Inlay by J. Weekoty



    Beautiful Zuni inlay ring! Made with inlaid mother of pearl, jet, and turquoise wrapped with twisted rope, cresent moons, and scrolls. The rings face measures 1 1/8" by 5/8" and is attached to a split shank band. The artist has stamped the outer band with multiple leaves and his initials J W. I believe the ring was made by Zuni lapidarist Jack Weekoty or Weekooty. He was taught be well known Zuni lapidarist Horace Iule.(Hallmarks of the Southwest p.179) $49.95
