Turquoise and Coral Shield Bolo



   Nice shield shaped bolo with sleeping beauty turquoise and coral. With three (3) slabs of sleeping beauty turquoise and two small coral branches set in hand cut serrated bezels. The artist has added different sized silver beads between the stones and cut out sunrise symbols around the edges. This is a silver overlay and not a stamped design. Notice the end tips. They have small saucer seamed beads and not the typical round beads found on most tips. The bolo measures 1 3/4" by 1 3/8" and the largest piece of turquoise is 7/8" long. The black braided leather necktie measures 38" long to include the sterling silver tips which measure 1 7/8" each. It comes with a locking clasp and has been stamped sterling along with the artist's hallmark of staggered L L. It also appears to have symbols below the LL. This could be a piece by Navajo artist Lorenzo Livingston.  $58.95
